OUR VISION
Our founders sought to create a government for the people, by the people, and of the people.
That promise requires something: people who are genuinely prepared to keep it.
That is what an American education should produce. Citizens who can think, reason, disagree without contempt, understand their rights and responsibilities, care for themselves, and contribute to others.
We never fully built the system that develops those capabilities. What we have in the US evolved over time, piece by piece, without a shared design or a common purpose.
